Creating Opportunity for Young under 14's!
Nationally and internationally there has been an explosion of interest and participation in Ballroom Dancing and DanceSport.  Dance offers kids the opportunity to learn new skills, exciting fashion, the chance to make new friends, fitness, artistic and dramatic presentation and even travel! With its increased popularity, the standards in competitive performance are also rising. For England to remain a world leader a sound and early training is essential for our young talent if their potential is to be realised.

In response to this need, Holiday and Dance have initiated the Dance for England project.  Holiday and Dance will provide administrative and organisational support, marketing and PR - including a website, funding development, and government liaison. The objectives of the project are to:
  • Stimulate interest in DanceSport for youngsters and parents
  • Make it easy for kids to get into a medallist dance programme
  • Publicise and promote dance studios and classes
  • Develop Free Regional Event training programmes in conjunction with EADA (English Amateur Dancesport Association)
Dance Studio Principals who include Juvenile medallist training in their teaching programme are invited to include their contact details on this website.  For a free information pack, please contact Philip Wylie by email or by phone on 01895 632143.

Juveniles dancing in BlackpoolFree Regional Event training for Juveniles will be a priority in the development of young DanceSport talent.  The emphasis will be very much on training and development of skills, but also on building a strong team spirit.  Involvement in this project for both youngsters, parents and their coaches at Dancesport Centres offers a great opportunity to develop and train future generations of dancers.
